Dr. Yan Yatsynovich will be joining Tennessee Heart from Buffalo, New York in August 2022. He was born and raised in Belarus and moved to Canada and the United States as a teenager. He attended medical school in Romania, went to Ohio for internal medicine, and New York for his cardiology training. He finished his interventional cardiology training back in Ohio. His native language is English and Russian and he also speaks fluent Romanian and basic Spanish.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and family when he is not in the office. In his spare time his hobbies include running, cooking, and playing chess. He said that this is a place where the physicians have strong community ties and that is where he always pictured he would practice. He is very passionate about his work and is excited to be a part of the Tennessee Heart Cardiology team.
