Sean Smithey is a native of Clarksville, TN, and moved to Cookeville in 2013. He joined TN Heart in March of 2023 as a clinic provider after working with the TN Heart physicians for approximately 10 years in the hospital setting. When Sean is not in the office, he recharges by self-care through exercise and camping. He enjoys spending time on his farm, with his friends and family, and his two dogs and cat. Sean stays active outside on his farm and assists in caring for over 30 Black Angus cattle. He enjoys spending as much time as possible with his friends and family as they are an important part of his everyday life. Sean’s passion is his patients – to see positive outcomes and to educate them on their disease process.
